6. FLUX CORED ARC WELDING (F.C.A.W.)(Structural)- Level 2
This course is designed to teach students the semi-automatic process Flux Cored Arc Welding (F.C.A.W.) on heavy gauge carbon steel working towards C.W.B. and/or T.S.S.A. certification.

Practical
- T – Travel Speed
A – Gun Angle
L – Arc Length (tip to work)
C – Welding Current (amperage voltage) - Setting proper gas flow
- Welding all position lap joints and tee joints
- Welding horizontal beads, lap joints and tee joints
- Welding multi-pass fillet welds in all positions
- Welding groove joints with or without backing
